Hemakoota (meaning "Golden Gathering" in Kannada) is a charming family homestay in Sakleshpura, nestled in the serene village of Atthihally. Established in 2015, our five-bedroom property offers guests a unique blend of comfort and tranquility, with spacious verandahs and modern, attached bathrooms.

Surrounded by lush coffee, cardamom, and pepper plantations, on one side, and peaceful homes on the other, Hemakoota Homestay perfectly captures the essence of country life. Hemakoota Homestay is owned and managed by us, Gowtham and Manu Gowtham, a passionate couple with a deep love for farming and hospitality. We reside in a century-old house next to the property, which adds to the charm and history of the place. Although we have been involved in farming for years, we have been offering exceptional hospitality and running our homestay for over fifteen years.

We limit the number of guests to 12 to ensure a peaceful, intimate experience while minimizing our impact on the surroundings. To further reduce our carbon footprint, we encourage guests to carpool for sightseeing activities nearby. Additionally, we avoid loud music and flashy lights to maintain the ecological balance and serenity of the homestay.
